SHORT FILM SERVICE PRODUCING

Do you have a fantastic script for a short film that is under 15 pages long, shootable in 3 days with a budget between £15,000 - £25,000? Do you have a way to raise the budget within your network (e.g through a ‘crowd funder’ or from private investment of friends and family?)

Do you need a producer to bring your vision and project to life supporting your both creatively and practically through all aspects of planning, production, post production, festival strategy and delivery?

Fancy a Jam Pictures could be the service producer for you. If we vibe with the material and with you, the filmmaker, then we can take the project onto our slate and have the film produced within 12 months.

The kicker: Fancy a Jam Pictures producorial services are at no cost to the production of the film. All monies raised go directly onto the screen*. No costly producer fees, just your vision executed on screen.

How do we do it? Fancy a Jam Pictures will claim UK Enhanced Audiovisual Expenditure Credit on the short film and will recoup its costs and expenses through HMRC.**

We’re looking to expand our network of creatives and produce more short films! We want to work with filmmakers who have a clear path to directing their first feature.***

Whilst we can offer advice on crowdfunding as well as applications to government funding schemes (such as BFI Network) and private schemes (such as First Flights, Genera etc) - we have a strong preference for projects from filmmakers who feel comfortable with raising the production budget from within their own network.

*suitable legal, accountancy and insurance fees to be determined.

**The project MUST be able to claim British Certification through the BFI.

***The copyright in the film will vest in a bespoke created SPV company.
